About Us
BIG CARING Foundation began with a simple belief — that care can change lives, and create hope and possibility for those who need it most.
For our founder, Mr Lee Meng Chuan, this belief was shaped by caring for his late father during his battle with cancer, and seeing firsthand the challenges families often face beyond treatment itself. It became a reminder that support can make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Over the years, this commitment was reflected through the Group’s community efforts, from health awareness and screening initiatives to encouraging the responsible disposal of unused and expired medicines. At the same time, Mr. Lee has always believed in the power of education to open doors and create brighter futures for those who may have fewer opportunities.
These values inspired the creation of the Foundation, bringing together the Group’s commitment to create greater impact across Community, Environment and Education.
What began with caring for one has become a commitment to care for many more.

Our mission is to drive sustainable impact by serving as a catalyst for a healthier, greener, and more knowledgeable society. We bridge the gap between corporate excellence and community need by focusing on three strategic pillars: Community Health, Environmental Stewardship, and Future Talent Development.
Through this holistic approach, we recognize that true wellness is not found in a vacuum; it requires a healthy population, a thriving planet, and a continuous infusion of new ideas and skilled professionals. By integrating these three pillars, we move beyond traditional philanthropy to create a self-sustaining cycle of social good that benefits generations to come.
Community
Promoting health and well-being through educational programs, health services, and medical aid.
To promote and support the health and well-being of individuals and communities through the provision of educational programmes, health-related services, campaigns, health screenings and preventive healthcare programs; providing medical aid and supplies, counselling and/or rehabilitation services (either on its own or jointly with); collaboration with healthcare professionals, organizations and government agencies to promote public health and well-being for the community including but not limited to, setting up health and/or wellness centres to serve and support any individuals or communities requiring health and/or wellness support.
Environment
Supporting green pharmaceutical practices and responsible waste management.
To promote and support sustainable and green pharmaceutical practices by advocating for the responsible sourcing, production and distribution of environmentally friendly pharmaceutical products; promoting proper safe disposal of all kinds of medical waste to minimise environmental impact; supporting research and innovation in green pharmaceutical solutions; and fostering collaborations with industry stakeholders to develop sustainable healthcare practices.

Providing scholarships, grants, and professional development in the healthcare field.
To provide educational support by offering scholarships and grants to deserving students pursuing studies in various academic and professional fields; organizing training, workshops, and professional development programs to enhance industry knowledge and skills; and establishing partnerships with academic institutions, research bodies, and professional organizations to contribute to the advancement of education, research, and industry development.
